Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and restrictions for using Timetrackr, our time tracking SaaS platform. By using Timetrackr, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Timetrackr to engage in, facilitate, or promote any of the following prohibited activities:

2.1 Illegal Use

  • Using the service in violation of any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Storing or transmitting data that infringes on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights of third parties
  • Using the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activities

2.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Sending spam, phishing messages, or any form of unsolicited communications through the service
  • Collecting or harvesting user data, including time entries, project information, or contact details, for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications
  • Using Timetrackr to distribute or facilitate the distribution of unsolicited bulk messages

2.3 Scraping and Data Mining

  • Automatically scraping, crawling, or harvesting content, data, or metadata from Timetrackr without express written permission
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to extract data from the service in violation of our Terms of Service
  • Building competing products or services using data obtained from Timetrackr

2.4 Reverse Engineering

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying architecture of Timetrackr
  • Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works based on the service or any of its components
  • Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any technical protection measures, rate limits, or access controls implemented by Timetrackr

2.5 Unauthorized Access

  • Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service, user accounts, servers, networks, or systems associated with Timetrackr
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the service or any connected systems or networks
  • Sharing, selling, or transferring your account credentials to any third party
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity, through the service

2.6 Service Disruption and Abuse

  • Engaging in any activity that interferes with, disrupts, or degrades the performance of the service for other users
  • Introducing viruses, malware, or other malicious code into the service or its infrastructure
  • Overloading or placing an unreasonable load on the service through excessive API calls, automated requests, or other means

2.7 Misuse of Time Tracking Data

  • Falsifying time entries, project data, or reports to misrepresent work performed or hours logged
  • Using Timetrackr to monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent in violation of applicable privacy laws
  • Exporting or sharing other users' time tracking data without proper authorization

3. Enforcement and Consequences

We take violations of this AUP seriously. If we determine that you have violated or attempted to violate this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning: Issuing a formal warning and requiring corrective action
  • Content removal: Removing any content or data that violates this AUP
  • Account suspension: Temporarily suspending your access to Timetrackr while we investigate the violation
  • Account termination: Permanently terminating your account and access to the service
  • Legal action: Pursuing legal remedies, including reporting the violation to law enforcement or seeking civil damages

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of this AUP. We are not obligated to provide prior notice before taking enforcement action, except where required by law.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any activity that you believe violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate them promptly.

To report a violation, please contact us at support@timetrackr.tech. Include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, any relevant account information, and any supporting evidence.

We will handle all reports in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable laws. Reporters acting in good faith will not face retaliation for reporting suspected violations.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or industry standards. We will notify users of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of Timetrackr after the effective date of the updated AUP constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
